Its been a while since I have had the chance to add updates to my printing progress…
So I have created a mini gallery of 3D printed items to showcase what I have been doing, and below the gallery is a little about each one… (Click on any of the images to open the gallery and show larger pictures).
Cherub Candelabra: A four arm candlestick on base featuring two winged cherubs decorating a large urn with a laurel garland, probably the favourite of my new ornaments range and they come in a wide range of colours – sold individually, but look great as a pair. £29-£39 each depending on finish
Rustic Wide Dresser: Almost everything on this wooden dresser is printed then decorated and in some cases hand painted. £69
Delft Stove: most of the stove contents the oven contents, the fire (which lights up) and the decorative panels on the body of the stove are printed. £89
Car Accessories: While the car is a customised cast metal collectable, the loose accessories are prints – toolboxes, bucket, scrubbing brush, and watering can. SOLD
Small Kitchen table with preserves: Another favourite piece and one which marks a step change in the things I produce – the oranges and lemons, wooden spoon and spatula are prints and highlight that I can now make almost anything I need. £64
Large Rustic Kitchen table: As well as oranges and lemons seen on the small table I do strawberries and cakes! £69
NEW Chinoiserie Grandfather Clock: This working grandfather clock is my own design and features hand painted red and gold accents. The clock is based on my Chateau Chic design and features removable working clock face. £69
Blenheim Fireplace clock: designed especially for the fireplace to be narrower and wider than my regular clocks – the beauty of 3D printing!
Crystal Ewers: The crystal ewers were my first successful venture into printing transparent pieces and have proved most popular! I will write more about crystal printing later as it is a total minefield, and takes longer to produce. £29 pair
Rustic Queen Mary Dresser: I decided to add a packed large dresser to my rustic range -and everything on the top and shelves is 3D printed and hand decorated.
The Blenheim fireplace: This was inspired by my Europa fireplace – but has printed overmantle, clock, (light up) fire basket hearth and back wall. £129
Shoe cleaning workbench: Again almost everything on and under this wooden table is printed and hand decorated for this piece.
Roman the grump and Walter reading the newspaper: I have started to expand the range of dolls I do with these new ones, as the detail I can now get on the faces is so good! I am also experimenting with scanning software – so sometime in the future I could scan a customer at a show and produce a custom made doll to go in their house!
Garage Workbench: Although the bench is fully wooden most of the accessories – Toolboxes, watering cans, caddy, crate and bucket (as well as most of the cans and packets) are printed. £99
Macaw in cage: One of my earliest successes – not only is the whole birdcage printed, but the macaw swinging on a perch is too! I was lucky enough to come accross a scan of a taxidermy real macaw – and the detail the 3D printer can reproduce on it is amazing! £49
As mentioned earlier I will be writing more about creating crystal prints soon as it is such a tricky process to master and I am still having my ups and downs with it!
