These washstands are fun pieces to add to any bedroom or bathroom scene. Washstands were the predecessors of the modern bathroom wash basin, or sink. They were in extensive use throughout a large part of the 18th century and early-19th century, eventually disappearing with the advent of modern indoor plumbing
The washstands all contain a mirror, jug and bowl and various accessories, bottles and towels. The mahogany and white option features a gentleman’s shaving mug and cut throat razor.
