Victor is a bit of a cheeky chap, and not adverse to the odd shady deal! Who knows what black market items are hidden in his box? He is called Victor as he reminds me of the film star Victor McLaughlin in the John Wayne film ‘The Quiet Man’ although this particular doll has come out a bit more handsome and less like a bruiser than my usual Victor’s!
He wears brown check trousers, check shirt with brown buttons and brown leather belt and braces with a brown Derby hat with matching band around the crown set at a jaunty angle. He is around 150mm/6in tall.
He is one of my dolls which I design, make, paint, wig and dress. Because of this, no two are exactly alike – no matter how hard I try they all have their own characters and quirky features! Each one is individually made and is not movable- they are all fixed in position.
