The Queen Mary dresser was inspired by the dressers I used in the Featherstone Hall Hotel kitchen, which was in turn inspired by Queen Mary’s dolls house in Windsor Castle. This extra large dresser is packed with cans, stoneglaze containers, packets and storage jars plus all sorts of antique kitchenalia items. There are larger storage jars and containers on the bottom shelf, and the worktop is packed with items that look in use – as if someone has just walked away to get something!
Most of the items on the dresser are items I make and hand decorate exclusively for my kitchen pieces, including all packaging and stoneglaze, the bread, pies and vegetables (and the chicken egg holder!)
