The Masons Suite features an antique china design, inspired by the British potter Charles James Mason, who patented Ironstone in 1813 – so popular was it, that by the mid-19th century a variety of ironstone types were being produced with the name subsequently becoming generic.

Ironstone designs were largely inspired by Chinese export porcelain, and often featured Chinese landscapes containing over-blown peonies, using cobalt blue and rust red in the classic ironstone pallete.  The china on the Mason’s Dining suite echo’s these antique designs with the floral landscape, in cobalt, red and turquise with hand gilded edges.

Set for 8, on the table, there are two glasses and four pieces of cutlery per place setting.  At each corner is an assortment of condiment pots and dishes. Lamps are electric with exclusive handmade shades.Gloss mahogany chairs are upholstered in dark red silk jacquard to perfectly match the colours on the china.

The TABLE measures: 210mm long x 105mm wide and 65mm tall (excluding ornaments/lights)
