I made the new lying mechanic to go with my range of broken down ‘restoration project’ vehicles, and I made two versions – one in a brown boiler suit and one in a green one.
They could almost be brothers! both look a handy sort with dirty hands and boots as well as grubby patches on bums and elbows!
They only come with one tool in one hand – other tools shown in the photos belong to the car settings.
I design, make, paint, wig and dress all my own dolls – and with my 3D printer I can now get even more detail and personality into them, with wrinkled faces, open mouths and fingers not mittens hands!
Because of this, no two are exactly alike – they all have their own characters and quirky features!
