Meet George, he has been reintroduced to the range after a very long absence – he originally appeared in the Featherstone Hall Hotel library over 10 years ago, and now this new version is available in several different coloured chairs to match any setting.
Whatever the chair, he is slouched down into it, inspecting the fine print of his newspaper very closely – so closely in fact he may drop the full glass of wine he is holding in his free hand! He is fixed in the chair in position and is not moveable.
I design, make, paint, wig and dress all my own dolls – so I can now get even more detail and personality into them, with wrinkled faces, open mouths and fingers not mittens hands! Because of this, no two are exactly alike – they all have their own characters and quirky features!
Each doll is individually made and in the case of George is not movable and fixed in the chair (although the arms of other dolls in the range do move a little at the elbow, and stand up by themselves – they do not require additional support).
