This mahogany late Victorian gentleman’s knee hole desk has nine drawers all with brass drawer pulls. The green leather top is edged with a gold line.
The desk holds: a new gold carriage clock which I have designed, magnifying glass, letter opener, hand painted books leaning against a globe bookend, a gilt inkwell set with dip pens, Large blotter with loose papers, letters opened envelope, childs photograph, tray with letters and green shaded desk lamp (electric).
To complete the scene Robert sits in a chair holding a letter and there are several bookcases – they are listed separately.
