Each one of theses cabinets is themed to match some of my current dining china styles, so are based on the Masons Ironstone (Red & Blue) Sage (Green) Coulson (pale Blue) and Imperial Fruit (Yellow) china ranges – Click on the chosen option box above to see pictures of each one.
The collection of items in the cabinets include a mixture of plates and ornaments taken from the current range of unique ornaments I create and and hand paint for my dressed furniture.
The gloss mahogany cabinet is Queen Anne in style, which predominantly describes furniture from the 1720’s to 1760s – even though the name was first applied to the style more than a century after it was fashionable! The cabriole (or Queen Anne) leg is the most recognisable element of of the style, and was influenced by the Rococo style from the French court of Louis XV.
