Each one of theses four cabinets is colour themed around my current dining china styles, so are based on the Masons Ironstone (Red & Blue) Jesmond (Pink Floral) Imperial fruit (Yellow & Gold) and Sage (Green & Parrots!) – Click on the chose an option box above to see pictures of each one.
The gloss mahogany cabinet is Queen Anne in style, which predominantly describes furniture from the 1720’s to 1760s – even though the name was first applied to the style more than a century after it was fashionable! The cabriole (or Queen Anne) leg is the most recognisable element of of the style, and was influenced by the Rococo style from the French court of Louis XV.
