The cherub candelabra is probably my favourite of my new ornaments range and will eventually come in a wide range of colours – but at the moment they are selling faster than I can paint them!
They are sold individually, but look great as a pair and even better with the new tall rococo mirror. Each candelabra has four arms above a vase which is being decorated with a laurel garland by two winged cherubs.
There are several versions of this to choose from: Gold, Ebony & Gold or Painted china.
They are rococo in style which is balanced but not symmetrical in nature (unlike the baroque style) and originated in France in the 1730s, with the style proving popular for decades to come.
