This is not an April fool

                      - I really have updated my website!

I have rather neglected my website recently but as I am about to launch my new season stock at the MINIATURA show tomorrow I thought I had better let the online world know that my new stock list will be added to this site next week.

I will update the news page with all the details as soon as I can, but in the meantime I have removed my old stock list from this website. This is only a temporary measure until I get all my newly photographed stock into a new catalogue. Until it appears please feel free to email with any stock enquiries.

ON THE NEWS PAGE: not done it yet!!!

DOLLS HOUSE & MINIATURE SCENE ARTICLES: The Theatre Royal series has now finished and I will be starting work soon on another (but smaller!) project for Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine. More later...

 A little bit about...

The theatre is another 'big' project for dolls house and Miniature Scene magazine. It can be seen 'in the round' with both auditorium in front and costume department and dressing rooms behind - all disguised within a steamer trunk case! Nothing too complicated then...

And not forgetting....

The hall is a Georgian Mansion (based on the Barbara's Mouldings Cottesmore house kit) which has been converted to a country house hotel in the pre-first world war, Edwardian era. This is the first house (and probably the last!) I have built and I followed the first article - a grand tour of the finished hotel and its occupants - with a series of 24 articles on the creation of the hotel from flat pack to finished project - including all of the ups, downs, disasters and classic beginner's mistakes!

The house has 20 rooms and 58 dolls with many four legged friends too! The full magazine articles were collected together with new articles on repairs and decorating the door interiors to make the Featherstone Hall Hotel book which is now available to buy in the Dee-Daw shop.

The Featherstone Hall Hotel limited edition book (see 'A little bit about Featherstone Hall' at the bottom of this page or click on the Featherstone Hall tab on the left for more information) was launched at Miniatura on the 21st September 2013 and now is available to buy direct from this website and from the Dee-Daw Designs stand at shows, signed copies are available at no extra cost - just ask when ordering.
